Banquet for Birds 2025
If you love birds and nature, this event is for you! Enjoy drinks, dinner, dessert, our famous silent auction, lively live auction, raffle and a very special guest speaker, Christian Cooper.
Birding: One for All and All for One What makes birding so uniquely appealing among the myriad ways to appreciate nature? How can birding bridge the many divisions in our society today? And why is it so important to expand birding to people from all walks of life?
Christian Cooper, the Emmy-award-winning host of the TV series Extraordinary Birder and author of the memoir Better Living Through Birding and the children’s book The Urban Owls tackles these questions and explores why birding should be for everybody, and we need everybody interested in birds.
Christian's books will be available for purchase at the banquet and he will sign them for you! Proceeds support our programs.
We look forward to a fun-filled evening with inspiring conversation, food, artwork, exciting auction adventures and most importantly -- our community that is the cornerstone of our conservation work.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m., the program starts at 5:30 p.m., and the event ends at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $120. All drinks and food are included. The event is located at the Atrium at Albertsons Corporate Offices, 250 E Parkcenter Blvd., Boise.
